Got my new xmas scarf on... smells and reminds me of Maisie :) Beautiful Casey's half asleep holding the radio. We have to be touching it to get reception for 92.9. haha. Temperature's working its way up to 60. Just got back from Agua Linda and the Co-op... took me forever to get our groceries... discovered their amazing tea collection in the corner! Smokey's asleep in her bed.
Today was a good good day. Mom and dad drove over from Marietta to help us get wood chopped and replenish the supply. We were lucky they came... got a ton done. Mom made me clean out the car :) and helped get stuff organized inside. My dad helped Casey get the tarp unstuck and climbed a ladder inside the tipi to trim the poles so that they'd quit getting caught on the tarp. We all enjoyed sammies, chips and fruit, and then the boys got to work cutting dead trees and carrying them up. Dad showed me how to start a "proper" fire :)
It was awesome having family here for the day... been missing everyone. And Smokey was glad to have her cousin Lizzy to play with too!
