A beautiful beautiful incredible morning. No idea what time it is... have forgotten what day it is... don't care about a thing in the world. The tipi is a bundle of bright white early winter sunlight... the chimes have been singing since about midnight... waking us up to the most breathtaking chorus... singing singing singing! The trees are whistling, the branches swaying, and the few leaves left rustling softly. Our rain tarp has been whipping away... dancing in the gorgeous breeze. We enjoyed an awesome breakfast with pressed coffee, aunt jemima pancakes, grits with agave, and a bit of raw goat cheese. We've finally run out of dishes being too busy to clean all week. God it's beautiful in here! The crisp, clean, dry morning air is pouring gently over the liner, tightening the skin on my face and cleansing my breath. The soft white winter sun is just radiating. The chimes
just singing singing resonating away.
Casey's out on the hammock now... calling for me to join him... Gotta build my compost bin out of sticks and netting today. Put up a sweet 20 foot canopy tent for our kitchen/bathroom/storage area. Looks awesome... so much fun to cook in.
Casey's in the tree out back now... surrounded by a sea of orange-brown leaves about 20 feet up. We'll see how high he gets. I just can't get over the beautiful sunlight. The woods are glittering, dancing in the silvery sun... purply blue trunks against the light blue sky and dry orange leaves... everything dancing alive in the breeze. Our first real day here....
