A beautiful beautiful afternoon. We awoke to a dreary gray heavy morning and took off on a walk after some delicious coffee. As we set off, camera in hand, a small patch of blue sky started to break through - the sky gradually growing brighter as we walked. We took time to stop and enjoy the trees, leaves, ferns, and water droplets filled with sunshine, snapping pictures and feeling in our element again. The white sunlight intermingled with the dark trees and gray woods as the cold dampness slowly lifted. The baby cedars sparkled in the white light, strung with tiny droplets of water.
Later, we cranked up some bluegrass music in the car and got to work on our various homestead chores. Now feeling accomplished, the three of us are resting in the sun bathed tipi listening to the breeze. Brittany and Jessica should be here soon!!
