Enjoying a quiet evening by the fire with Casey and Smokey after a whirlwind week. We put in 12 hours at work each day and barely took a minute to breathe (this is becoming a theme in the journal entries!) Last night we enjoyed some downtown action with the crew and Jessica Tiegsie who's finally returned to town. Today was a warm, calm, rainy day at the tipi... a much needed break from the craziness of work. We barely know what to do with ourselves... this'll be our first whole weekend at the tipi in a while. Tonight I'm remembering to be thankful, to step back and admire this gorgeous home. The xmas lights are strung in a circle, the candles are lit, and the fire's dancing. It's a whopping 70 degrees in here tonight. And the slowly rushing stream, full of rainfall can be heard amongst the stray droplets pattering on the canvas.
Time for some more chips con queso~!
