We're officially in heaven now. I'm sitting here in the most beautiful woods, overlooking the shadow of a blue ridge in the distance, the sun working its way up over blue streaks of clouds on the horizon... the chimes are singing away in the morning breeze. And... I'm on the Internet blogging. How cool. We're back in the tent for a while until we can get the tipi prepared for setup. (Gonna paint the canvas this time, treat the poles, and stain the floor.)
Slept so so well last night in the tent... cradled by the ground, lulled to sleep by the sounds of the forest, and watched over by an enormous full moon. Nothing separating us from the woods except the tent's thin mesh screen. The sunrises here are absolutely breathtaking... can't believe we're going to be roused from our sleep by this every morning.
Something about this place... seems to radiate peace and love and warmth. I feel so connected to the ground, to the trees, to our new neighbors.
I'll fill you in on the move and add some pictures later. Gotta get moving so we can help raise Earthsong's tipi this afternoon down by the river!!
